Why Do Contractors Choose GORE for the Hardest Jobs?

Premium attachments built for the toughest European ground.

BRAND STORY

Built for hard ground

GORE was founded on a simple principle: build the attachment once, build it right, and let the operator forget about it. While the rest of the market chases price points by thinning steel and shortening warranties, GORE engineers go the other way — Hardox 500 throughout the wear path, dual-bolt cutting edges, sealed-for-life pivot pins, and a 5-year warranty that genuinely covers what you’d expect to wear out. The result is an attachment that stays on the machine for the full season without a workshop visit, and pays back its premium in fewer rebuilds, fewer breakdowns, and more billable hours.

Every GORE product on this page is engineered for European conditions: frost-bound winter ground, mixed Nordic aggregate, and the long-haul demands of contractors who run their machines six days a week, ten months of the year. From the G450 hydraulic breaker (auto-lube, anti-blank-fire, 5-year housing warranty) to the 360° rotating grapple (Hardox-lined jaws, 200–300 bar), the GORE range is what you specify when downtime is the real cost. Stocked at our Saltsjö-Boo warehouse with 2–5 day delivery to all Nordic addresses.

WHY GORE

What you get

01

Hardox 500 throughout

SSAB Hardox 500 across the entire wear path — not just bolt-on cutting edges. Roughly 2× the wear life of Hardox 400 in rock and frost-bound ground.

02

5-year warranty

Five years on housings, hydraulic components, and structural welds. Wear consumables (chisels, bushings, cutting edges) excluded.

03

Auto-lube as standard

Every breaker, grapple, and forestry attachment ships with an auto-greasing system pre-fitted. Under-greased pivot pins are the leading wear failure — we eliminate it.

04

CE-compliant safety

All hitches and lifting attachments meet EN 474-5 and CE marking requirements. Hydraulic hitches include the mandatory mechanical secondary lock.

05

Engineered for the Nordics

Heated hydraulic seals, anti-corrosion finish, and frost-grade steel grades. Designed and tested in Sweden for Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Denmark.

FIELD REPORTS

From the yard

We run two GORE buckets and a G450 breaker on our 14-tonne Volvo every day. Zero downtime in two seasons, and the auto-lube means nobody is climbing on the machine to grease it.

The 5-year warranty actually means something. Cracked housing on a competitor’s breaker last year cost us a month of downtime. GORE replaced ours under warranty, no questions, no two-week wait.

Tomas Lindqvist

Site Foreman · Bergen, Norway

I bought GORE because the tree shears handle 350mm spruce without stalling. The 360° grapple is the most useful thing on my machine — sorted scrap is twice as fast as fixed.

FAQ

GORE common questions

Why does GORE cost more than other brands?
GORE attachments are built with Hardox 500 throughout (vs Hardox 400 on most competitors), come with a 5-year warranty (vs typical 1–2 year), and ship with auto-lube and CE-compliant safety systems pre-fitted. The premium is roughly 50–70% over budget brands — and over a 5-year working life it typically pays back via fewer rebuilds, longer wear life, and lower downtime.
Are GORE attachments compatible with my Volvo / CAT / JCB / Komatsu?
Yes. GORE attachments are available pre-fitted to all five European hitch standards (S40, S45, S60, S70, S80) which between them cover virtually every modern European-spec excavator. If you’re unsure which standard your machine runs, use our Quick Hitch Finder or call our team on +46 12 345 678.
Where are GORE attachments manufactured?
GORE attachments are designed in Sweden and manufactured at the GORE Engineering plant in southern Sweden. Final assembly, hitch fitting, and quality inspection take place at our Saltsjö-Boo facility before dispatch.
